You can help change one life coming through the doors of Teen Challenge – by joining as a monthly sponsor. Through your monthly sponsorship, Teen Challenge is able to provide each young man with counselling, education, vocational training and the hope and encouragement they need to help them find a new start in life.
When you join to sponsor a student in the Teen Challenge program, you’ll receive:
- A colour photo of the student you’re helping
- Quarterly updates on his progress in the program
- A personal invitation to his graduation
- An opportunity for you to write and encourage him (you can use this online form)
- One tax receipt issued at year’s end
For just $30 a month, your sponsorship will provide a young man at Teen Challenge a future without drugs and alcohol.

Why it Works
The Teen Challenge program has a proven cure rate of over 70%, even five years after graduation! Through one-on-one faith-based counselling, students learn to deal with the root problems leading to their addictions and turn to God for the answers to coping with difficult situations.
While in the program, students are provided with a healthy and safe environment, away from the influence of street life and drug addictions. Students are also presented with the opportunity to learn valuable skills, training, and basic education to return to society as responsible citizens.
The Teen Challenge program is designed to give young men struggling with addictions a second chance at life. After graduation, these former troubled lives (now transformed!) go out into society to become positive influences to their families, friends, and the communities in which they live.
